ALI AMINU MONGUNO
Founder and Lead Architect
With over 12 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry in the UAE, Ali is a Senior Architect with a wealth of experience working independently with various architectural firms. He specializes in high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects.
Currently, Ali is involved in the development of an upscale residential project on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, which features 20 luxurious beachfront villas and a 9-story luxury apartment building.
Throughout his career, Ali has contributed to several notable projects, including:
1. Bee’ah Headquarters by Zaha Hadid in Sharjah, UAE
2. Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, UAE
3. Ritz Carlton Hotel and branded residences in Riyadh, KSA
4. Sheikh Shakbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, UAE
5. Sheikh Hamdan Private Island Resort in Dubai, UAE
Ali is honored to have been recognized by the Cannes Film Festival and the Sheikha Manal Young Artist Award for his contributions to architecture, art, film, and photography competitions worldwide. He was fortunate to receive a generous forty thousand Dirham cash prize from Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed Al Maktoum.
Most recently, Ali's efforts were recognized by the Dubai Cultural Office, which awarded him a Golden Visa to further his career as an architect in the UAE.
Outside of work
Ali enjoys participating in occasional endurance races. He prefers adventure races, triathlons, and Ironman competitions as his ways of building mental resilience and improving his multitasking skills.
He was honored to represent the UAE in the Eco-Challenge, the world's toughest race, which is a TV show on Amazon Prime hosted by Bear Grylls.
